Let me tell you a bit more about myself...

About Me

I'm Rodrigo Villablanca. I built this blog to share my projects, experiments, and everything I've been learning along the way as I finish my university studies. While studying, I’ve also been exploring the web dev world through my own, for example: taking courses like Vercel’s official Next.js program, The Odin Project, freeCodeCamp, and others.

My curiosity for development started around 2022, like many others, by building pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But the truth is, it started way earlier. Around 2012 I think, I was already playing with the browser’s inspect tool, for example changing <p> tags to make it look like Paul McCartney had replied to a friend, or adjusting styles on websites that didn’t have dark mode, just for fun.

Before that, I studied Economics. That’s where I got into Excel and discovered VBA. It wasn’t much, but I was fascinated by how powerful even a simple language could be. That eventually led me to take the leap into web development in 2022. A year later, I had enrolled in the Web Development Technician program at the National University of Comahue.

As for this blog, I built it with a minimalist approach that reflects my style. The color palette is inspired by the crest of Club Atlético River Plate, the club I'm proud to support.

That’s it for now. Feel free to check out my GitHub or reach out via email at vrodrigo97@proton.me.
